Message	It sounds like you need a 8500 with arrows...heh. I love my V1, its my first radar detector. I plugged it in, turned it on and didn't adjust a thing. All the 'false alarms' I see are stationary objects which don't surprise me when I hear the alert. It has found every speed trap I've passed. I keep it close like my wallet. Go with your gut. If you're more comfortable with the alerts of the 8500, that may be your best bet.
